These terms govern your use of https://app.epigenesisedu.com and the coaching and consulting services provided by Epigenesis Edu Private Limited (“Epigenesis Edu”, “we”, “us”). By booking a demo class, enrolling in a programme or making a payment, you accept these terms.
1. Who we are and what we provide
We provide live, online mathematics coaching for Class X and Class XII across the CBSE, ICSE and ISC boards; quantitative aptitude preparation for CAT and comparable entrance and placement examinations; academic supervision for undergraduate and postgraduate project and research work; and accreditation and ranking consulting for educational institutions.
2. Who may use these services
- If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must book on your behalf and is the contracting party for all fees and communications.
- You confirm that the information you give us — name, contact number, email address, class, board and city — is accurate and belongs to you or to the student you are booking for.
- Institutional engagements are entered into by an authorised signatory of the institution.
3. The free demo class
- The demo class is thirty minutes, one-to-one, live and free of charge. No payment details are collected to book it.
- One free demo is offered per student. We may decline repeat demo requests for the same student.
- We confirm the slot and share a joining link by email before the class. If the slot you chose is no longer available, we will offer the nearest alternative.
- The demo carries no obligation on either side. Fees are shared afterwards, in writing.
4. Enrolment, fees and scheduling
- Fees depend on the programme, whether classes are one-to-one or small-group, and the duration committed to. The applicable fee is confirmed to you in writing before any payment is taken.
- All fees are quoted in Indian Rupees and are payable in advance of the classes they cover, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
- Payments are processed by our payment gateway partner. We do not store your card, UPI or bank details.
- Class schedules are agreed with you. We will give reasonable notice of any change and offer a replacement slot for any session we cancel.
- Sessions missed without notice are not ordinarily rescheduled. Tell us in advance and we will do our best to accommodate you.
5. Conduct expected during classes
- Classes are for the enrolled student only. Login details and joining links must not be shared.
- Recording, reproducing or redistributing a class without our written permission is not permitted.
- We may end a session or an enrolment, without refund of classes already taken, where a student or accompanying adult behaves abusively towards a teacher.
6. Academic integrity
For project and research work we provide supervision, not authorship. We help you frame a problem, choose a method, handle data, structure a report and prepare for a viva. We do not write, part-write or sell academic work for submission. Submitting work you did not produce is misconduct under your institution’s rules and puts your degree at risk.
7. Intellectual property
Teaching materials, worked solutions, question banks, recordings and this website remain our property or that of our licensors. You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own study for as long as you are enrolled.
8. What we can and cannot promise
- We commit to teaching competently, to a plan agreed with you, and to telling you honestly what we think is achievable in the time available.
- We do not guarantee any particular mark, percentile, rank, admission, accreditation grade or ranking outcome. Results depend on the student’s or institution’s own work.
- Classes are delivered over the internet. We are not responsible for interruptions caused by your connection, device or power supply.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with these services is limited to the fees you have paid us for the programme in question during the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version published on this page at the time you book or pay is the version that applies to you. Material changes will be notified by email to enrolled students.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bengaluru have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
12. Contact
Questions about these terms should go to epigenesisedu@gmail.com, or see our contact page.
